Hello!
Women’s Forum – AGM
As the CLP GA is on the 19th July, we’re scheduling the Women’s Forum AGM after the summer (date for the diary: Thursday 9th September at 7pm). More details nearer the time.
We’ll be discussing the violence against women and girls motion which was voted for at Women’s Conference to be taken to National – you can read the motion here: https://labour.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/VAWG_Agreed-composite..pdf
If you have any comments on the motions prior to the AGM, please drop me a line, I’d be happy to chat.

Some of you may have read this article https://www.theguardian.com/society/2021/jun/30/rise-in-women-sleeping-rough-hidden-crisis-england-charities-warn about the rise of women rough sleepers, which is alarming.
I am discussing with Jullian House about how we can highlight this issue and if there are any particular items they need us to arrange collections for. I will update you on this asap but feel to drop me a line (reply to this email) if you would like to discuss.
