Arthur, Dylan, Rikki and Nic will be joining us to discuss the real life stories of transgender people and the social, personal and mental health issues that transgender people face. This is an opportunity for us to ask questions, to share and to learn.

Organised by Jack Fielding (LGBTQ+ Officer) and Emily Smith (Comms Team).

Arthur Webber
Arthur describes himself as a comic and regularly speaks to CLPs going by the names Bernie Tranders and Traingenderman. At 22, he is a Labour Candidate for City Council in Paston and Walton.

Dylan Tippett
Dylan is the former LGBT+ Officer for Bridgwater and West Somerset CLP and is now a member of Plymouth Sutton and Devonport CLP and the LGBT+ officer for the University of Plymouth Labour Society.

“I’m going to discuss what it was like for me growing up trans and bi in the South West, not having access to LGBT+ services where I lived and the importance of the Labour Party being a safe space for all LGBT+ individuals.

Rikki Arundel
Rikki Arundel has a master’s degree in Gender Research from Hull University and is one of the leading diversity speakers in the UK.

Nic Crosara
